Cork Coasters, Cork Placemats and Cork Hot Pads
Cork is a multi-functional material that is warm, durable, natural, and soft. These characteristics make cork very suitable to be coasters, placemats & hot pads that are widely used in restaurant, office and home.
Cork Coasters & Placemats can protect furniture against staining and scratching when drinking and eating. Cork Hot Pads are used to place hot cookware to prevent furniture damaged by high temperature touch.     

Cork Coasters
Types:
The traditional Cork Coasters are manufactured ONLY from CORK without paper, fiberboard or other materials. We call this "ReKa" coaster. Custom designed Logo or simple drawing can be screen printed in one or two color(s) on the cork surface. It is also available to stain the cork surface firstly and make the Logo print on the stained cork surface to get a better looking. ReKa coaster is an economical option.

There is another popular type of Cork Coasters that is a Four Layers construction. The qualified composition cork
is put at the bottom,and then MDF board lies above, various designs (4/Coffset printing paper)covers MDF boardto make an attractive appearance, finally , a special kind of heat insulationprotective coating is adhered on the topsurface. We call this "BaKa" coaster.
    
The advantages of BaKa coaster
comparing with ReKa are colorful
facing, easy to cleaning and durable.

The edge of BaKa coaster can be natural,
sealed with color coating.
Besides above, "DuKa" coaster is another high-end option. Duka is a kind of three-layers-construction coaster. The top and the bottom layers are qualified composition cork. And the middle layer is MDF with color painting. Custom designed Logo or simple drawing can be screen printed in one or two color(s) on the cork surface.

Shapes and dimensions:
The typical shapes and dimensions of cork coasters are circle sized dia. 95mm x 4.0mm and square with 1/4 round corner sized 95mm x 95mm x 4.0mm. Custom shapes and sizes are also available. The edge of BaKa coasters can be beveled for sealing with color coating.

Packing:
Cork coasters are normally 4pcs / 6pcs / 12pcs packed. LEECORK offers the most economical packing such as PP bag & PP shrinking film, and the medium cost packing such as plastic box and very elegant color printing paper box packing, besides that, we also have some luxury packing such as wood+cork box, 100% cork box for presents packing.
Maintenance care of cork coasters:
It is very easy for cleaning cork coasters: Just wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth. Coasters do not immerse in water. Heat resistant is up to 110°C/225°F. All LEECORK's coasters need care to guarantee its durability. Please note do NOT place cookware taken directly from the oven onto cork coasters.

Cork Placemats
Types:
There are two types of placemats that LEECORK offers. One type is "ReKa" made of cork material only. The other type is "BaKa", which is also a four layers construction like BaKa placemats.

Shapes and dimensions:
The typical shape of cork placemats is rectangle with 1/4 round corner.
Regarding the length and width of cork placemats, customers often have their own requirements. For example, 400x300mm 370x260mm, 350x250mm are some popular sizes.
Thickness of cork placemats is normally 4.0mm.
The edge of BaKa placemats can be beveled for sealing with color coating.

Packing:
Cork placemats are normally 1pc / 2pcs / 4pcs packed.

Cork hot pads are normally 2pc / 4pcs / 6pcs / 12pcs packed. LEECORK offers the most economical packing such as PP bag & PP shrinking film, and the medium cost packing such as plastic box and very elegant color printing paper box packing for hot pads.

Maintenance care of cork hot pads:
For ReKa hot pads, just wash the hot pads in water. For DuKa hot pads, just wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
